The clever people at Daisy recently announced one of the most interesting commemoratives they’ve yet offered- a soon to be released replica of the very first wire-stock Daisy BB gun. This is the gun that was offered as a promotional item by the Plymouth Windmill Company, and proved so popular that the company quit making windmills and decided to market BB guns instead! The gun will come complete with period-style packaging, recreated from photos and ads in the Daisy archives.
Only 1000 numbered guns will be made, with the first 500 or so being offered to Friends of the Daisy Museum. You can learn more about this project and other Daisy collectibles ( and become a Friend of the Daisy Museum) at http://www.daisymuseum.com/.
