I was pleasantly surprised to find this classic airgun in a toy store last Wednesday- and in Ann Arbor, of all places. (Michigan residents will understand.) Even better, this is the original, cast metal design- not the plastic ones that seemed to replace them in recent years. This gun has a real heft to it, [...]

Here’s another gun from the back of the cabinet that hasn’t been out in the field in a long time. It’s an original Beeman C1 carbine in .177 that I bought used in the late 1980s from a fellow airgunner who’d done some tuning on it- I think he relubed it and did a little [...]

I’m thinning out the collection, and selling guns that I’m not shooting. Just sold is the Jim Maccari tuned Air Arms TX-200 I shot in competition for two years. This shoots about as well as a spring gun can- with carefully selected pellets, it’ll shoot well under a minute of angle all day long.I used [...]

Looking through my past postings, I was surprised to find that I’d never featured my Hy-Score 814 pistol. To load, you push the barrel backwards, until it locks. This b rings [...]

I noticed this morning that Amazon has a 3-12×40 airgun scope for under $55- the
BARSKA 3-12×40. Reviews are mixed, but Amazon is very good about return or replacement of defective merchandise, and I have yet to find a cheaper zoom airgun scope. Worth checking out.
